Last year was fun wasn't it? Let's make this year even better! The Pirates remain in firm control of the second wild card spot with a 2.5 game lead and are currently chasing the Cardinals for the division. Only 10 games remain and the last three at PNC Park will be this weekend!

Help the Pirates push for the postseason by coming out to the ballpark for some great tailgating and some great baseball!

Here is a list of activities going on at the ballpark this weekend. If you can make it, the atmosphere is sure to be electric!

Friday

To kick off the series against the Milwaukee Brewers Friday night the Pirates will host the last Free Shirt Friday of the year! If you are one of the first 25,000 fans you will receive a limited edition t-shirt. The weather is shaping up to be a perfect fall night and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Get out to the ballpark early and start your weekend off right with some tailgating!

Saturday

Saturday you will want to come out to the park early for a pregame Block Party on Federal Street before the game, starting at 5:30. Participants will receive food and beverage specials, live music and alumni appearances at the Budweiser Bar. If that isn't reason enough to come out, there will be post-game fireworks as well!

Block Parties, baseball and fireworks makes for a great Saturday.

Sunday

Sundays are perfect for any families that want to make it out to PNC Park for the final home game of the 2014 season.

"Kids Days" at PNC Park will feature a Family Fun Zone on Federal Street from 11a.m. -1p.m. All kids 14 & younger will get a kid-friendly Pirates item at the gates with paid admission to the game. In addition to the pre game fun, kids will also get a chance to stick around after the game and run the bases like a pro!

There will also be a special Kids Knit Pittsburgh Pirates Ski Cap for kids 14 & younger. If you haven't taken the kids to see a game this summer, this Sunday is a perfect chance to show them how much fun baseball can be!
