If you are in the market for a new RV and don't know what to do with your old one, consider donating it to a good cause. The KOA Campground Owners Association created an organization called The KOA Care Camps that helps fund special camps for kids with cancer.  Donating your RV helps supply the camps with essential items they may not be able to acquire. So, what is the KOA Care Camp all about? KOA Care Camps create a carefree and fun environment for kids with cancer to experience all the activities of sleep away camp without the stress. Kids can enjoy the great outdoors by swimming, hiking, climbing, and other sport activities.  They sing songs around the campfire and dance to their favorite songs, and get creative with arts and crafts. Camp counselors do their best to help the campers take their minds off of their diseases so they can have the best experience possible. The KOA Care Camps trust fund provides financial support for more than 50 Care Camps across the United States and Canada.  Donations from organizations and individuals support the camps needs for medications, medical equipment, utilities, transportation, meals, recreation equipment and insurance.  Each camp needs to be  fully equipped with the necessary medical supplies needed to staff and care for each camper's medical needs and that cannot be accomplished without the help from the community. If you'd like to help out a Care Camp today, monetary donations can be made at any KOA Campground across the country or on the KOA website.  They also take donations of RV's, boats and cars to use for transportation for the camps.  Donate your old RV today!
